Deck Fifty Now Accepting Bitcoin

As a technology company we strive to stay ahead of the curve. We are always on the lookout for new ways to improve our services and optimize our business workflow. Over the last couple of years we have watched with interest as an exciting new technology called Bitcoin has emerged.

Bitcoin is a new form of electronic currency that is set to completely revolutionize the way we transact business online. Bitcoin is an open source, peer-to-peer digital currency, which can be traded in exchange for goods and services. Running on a completely decentralized network, Bitcoin uses sophisticated cryptography (complex mathematical systems for securing communication) to ensure that all transactions are legitimate and secure. Unlike traditional currencies, it does not rely on trust or 3rd party involvement (ie. banks, payment processors, credit card companies, etc). Think of it as 'the currency of the Internet'.

We realize that Bitcoin has a way to go before it can achieve widespread adoption. It still has a fairly high barrier to entry for non-technical users, though we think that this will likely resolve itself as the word gets out and more and more businesses start to accept it. At Deck Fifty we feel that this technology has opened the door to a great change for the online world. To do our part, we have decided to accept Bitcoin as a payment option for all of our Drupal website services.

Ask us how you can pay your next invoice in Bitcoins!
