Merridale was in need of a website face lift with easy to update content all of the great advantages and functionality Drupal has to offer. We developed a site which includes the ability to add events, tours and vendors, and most importantly - all the fantastic cider they have to offer! The design captures the spirit and personality of the establishment and its owners.
Drupal
Drupal was the CMS framework of choice for this build as it allows the development of robust functionality, while staying within the client's budget. Merridale's previous site was built with Drupal 6 so they were already very familiar with the management interface and features.
Challenges & Solutions
Product showcase: At the heart of Merridale is the cider, and showcasing their wide variety of products (not just cider!) was at the forefront of our design and development decisions.
Wedding showcase: Merridale staff can easily update the images, content and booking webforms in the wedding section, allowing them to keep content up to date for the wedding destination seekers.
Events: Upcoming events are displayed in many places throughout the site, and a simple-to-view calendar makes finding the special upcoming event that much easier!
