Everfan is a company with a mission to create wonder and happiness through products designed for fun and play. Everfan produces custom designed superhero capes, masks, and powerbands, for both kids and adults.
Deck Fifty was contracted to develop a Drupal 8 website for Everfan to increase sales and promote new products. Working closely with Everfan's awesome staff we created a winning design with a sleek new look for their online presence.
An important aspect of the build was ensuring that all features be easy to use for both customers and staff. To achieve this we prioritized accessibility and ease of use for each feature that was implemented. We chose a crisp easy to read typeface, and created a fully responsive layout for full function on any screen size.
Hero Maker
We developed a custom product configurator to showcase Everfan's full product line and allow customers to configure their own custom hero including cape, mask, shirt and powerbands. One of the big concerns surrounding the development of the new hero maker was that it be easily expandable for future product lines. We constructed the hero maker with tight Drupal ecommerce integration to fulfil this requirement and make for easy management as well.
Drupal 8
The Drupal 8 content management system was chosen for the site platform because of its extremely flexible configuration and scalable architecture. Everfan's complex product structure called for a robust Drupal ecommerce system which the commerce module handled perfectly. Drupal is open source and is maintained by thousands of developers which means that it is constantly updated to ensure security and up to date features. The large number of community contributed modules allow for fast deployment of complex features without breaking the bank.
